"Welcome to LazyTown" is the LazyTown theme song. It is featured before every episode. It is a remix of the Icelandic song "Íþróttaálfurinn" from the Áfram Latibær! play. There also exists a Christmas remix of the song, which is used in the holiday specials. SequenceSeries 1-2The sequence starts with the show's logo forming out of the clouds by Sportacus' airship. We see him riding the airship as he lands near LazyTown. We see Robbie Rotten setting up a trap hole by putting leaves on top, as Sportacus does many jumps and tricks. Stephanie arrives in LazyTown and meets with Ziggy, who gives her his lollipop. We see scenes of Pixel (typing on his computer), Stingy (messing around with a piggybank) and Trixie (defacing a poster of Mayor Meanswell). This then cuts to the kids dancing around and watching Sportacus' super-strong moves. Robbie hopes for Sportacus to fall in, but he doesn't. Robbie isn't pleased and runs into the hole instead. Sportacus then does a splits move. The intro ends with an overview of lazyTown as the show's logo flips onto the screen, while a blue flag reading "GO!" flicks onto the screen. On the original US Nickelodeon airings and DVD releases, the flag is instead styled like the Nick Jr. logo. Series 3-4We see Sportacus forming the logo in the skies on his airplane. It then cuts to him and Stephanie performing moves as the kids are impressed. Stephanie then throws an apple to Sportacus and he eats it. Robbie Rotten is setting up a trap hole by putting leaves on to trap Sportacus, but he avoids the trap and Robbie falls in, to the kids' delight. Sportacus does his splits move and fades as the show's logo flips onto the screen. In Series 4, the cloud transition scene at the beginning is different, with the logo being covered up by clouds this time. This time when Sportacus does the splits move, he flips into the LazyTown logo this time. Series 3 (Alternate)We see Sportacus forming the logo in the skies on his airplane. It then cuts to him and Stephanie performing moves, as Bessie is impressed. The hero then flips past Milford, Stephanie, Robbie and the kids, as Stephanie cheers. Robbie is setting up a trap hole by putting leaves on to trap Sportacus, who avoids the trap, and Robbie falls in. Sportacus does his splits move and fades as the show's logo flips onto the screen.
