Trixie

Trixie is a main character in LazyTown. She’s known for disobeying most rules and saying whatever is on her mind. Her character was designed to represent the negative effects of having little respect for others.

Description

The troublemaker, the rule-breaker and free spirit, Trixie likes to play pranks and definitely thinks outside the box. If there's a traditional way to do something, she'll never find it. She’s sassy, strong-headed and extremely lacking in patience. Sometimes the other kids just want to tell her to "chill out". She's very "in your face," but always in a fun, comedic way. Think "Cat in the Hat."

She’s also very smart. She reads lots of books and has lots of trivia at her fingertips: "Did you know that the biggest glacier in the world is in Iceland?" She’s reluctant to admit that she knows so much because she thinks she’ll look uncool in the eyes of the others if she acts too smart. Honest to the point of pain, she doesn't pull any punches and will say what others are thinking, lacking all diplomacy. She isn't mean spirited, but she can be brutal. Looks

Trixie has tan skin, brown hair styled into three pigtails, and brown eyes. She usually wears a red-and-white shirt with an icon of a chibi character on the front, red pants, and red/yellow sneakers. As a pirate in "Rottenbeard", she wore a red pirate hat and hook.

Personality

Trixie is a loud, carefree daredevil and likes to pull pranks on people, who, for all her faults, has shown to care about her friends throughout the series, Stephanie in particular. She went from the most developed character in the plays to the least developed in the series. What else is there to say?

Trivia

Trixie's Icelandic name is Halla Hrekkjusvín, which translates to "Halla Trickster".
Trixie likes to call Stephanie "Pinky".
According to LazyTown's Greatest Hits, her favorite song is Spooky Song.
Trixie is the only character whose home is never seen. However, it's possible that her home is a trailer.
At the end of the episode "Crystal Caper" Trixie kisses Stingy revealing that she may or may not have a crush on Stingy. It is never addressed again.
Though official media raves about her love for her scooter, she's only seen using it less than 3 times in the series.
Trixie's practical jokes were toned down in seasons 3 and 4.
According to the original LazyTown website, Trixie is 8 years old.
Trixie's full name is Trixie Troubleby.
