Eyrún Eyðslukló Species Human Gender Female First appearance Áfram Latibær! Portrayed by Pálína Jónsdóttir Penny Pestella is a character in LazyTown. She is a money-wasting beggar. She only appeared in Áfram Latibær! Description Penny is obsessed with the concept of money, but is unable to be frugal with it, immediately spending whatever she receives. As she is lazy, she initially never considered getting work, instead begging others to give her money until they cave in. After Sportacus teaches her the concept of saving, she gets a job working for the Mayor so that she may earn an income the correct way. She may have aspirations of being an ice skater, as she admits to Sportacus that she has always wanted ice skates but never has enough money due to her spending problem. Looks Penny has very exagerated makeup consisting of lots of blush and prominent blue eyeliner. Her hair is bunched into three buns, similar in arrangment to Trixie's hair in the TV series. She sports a checkered red shirt with blue fluffy sleeves, and red dungarees with exagerated, yellow lined pockets she frequently pulls out to show her lack of money. As she lacks an official English name, her name "Penny Pestella" was decided based on the results of this forum thread while the play was being translated to English.
