When Stephanie, Ziggy and Stingy are seen as cartoons, they got pig snouts, but when they're seen as their real life selves and are ready to get zapped into/are scanned out of the book by Trixie and Pixel, they're noses are completely normal, however, when Sportacus gets zapped in the book, he doesn't have a pig snout.
The animation in this episode was done by Funbag in Ottawa, Canada.
The credits list Kobie Powell as Pixel's voice, even though he's voiced by Chris Knowings in this episode.
This is the first and only episode in which the LazyTown characters are animated.
Some of the books in Sportacus' airship in the opening scene include: "Bloodstream" by Tess Gerritson, "Masterpieces of World Literature" by Frank Migell and a handful of Icelandic books.
The clothes that Robbie Rotten wears when he’s in his Big Bad Wolf Costume is similar to what The Big Texan Wolf wore in the 1943 Warner Bros. cartoon "Pigs in a Polka".
