The Feet Crazer Maker 6000 is one of the first inventions Robbie Rotten uses, as seen in the series. These are boots that are nearly identical to Sportacus's boots, but with a different material and flashing red and blue LED lights. They function as radio-controlled boots, designed to make the wearer lose total control of their feet while whoever is in control makes even the task of standing still impossible. When Robbie Rotten discovers that Sportacus will perform a soccer stunt for Sportacular Spectacle Day, he decides to take matters into his own hands to humiliate Sportacus. He introduces his newest invention, which he titles the "Fleet" Feet Crazer Maker 6000, and plans to use it by utilizing a remote control to control Sportacus and ruin his performance. After a brief demonstration, one of the boots seems to kick him in the face, revealing that while in auto-mode, they seem to have a life of their own, beeping and booping to communicate with each other mischievously. Recovering from the kick, Robbie sets out to prepare a disguise as the boots obediently trot away to be packaged. Robbie dons a shoe salesman uniform, and upon meeting Sportacus he insists that his boots are covered in slimy, smelly goop, though obviously false, before proceeding to actually spill a purple and sticky substance on Sportacus's boots, leaving him no choice but to remove them for cleaning. The disguised Robbie pretends to clean them with his Shoe-Cleaner 6000, tricking Sportacus into thinking his real boots were as good as new, when in reality, he swapped the original boots for the trick boots. Oblivious to the differences between the footwear, Sportacus puts on the Feet Crazer Maker 6000 and flips away, unaware of their true purpose. Later, when Sportacus is finally ready to perform his stunt, a still-disguised Robbie watches from afar and uses his remote control to activate the fake boots at what is supposed to be his finest hour, causing Sportacus to lose control of his feet. The Feet Crazer Maker 6000 sends Sportacus kicking and flailing uncontrollably all over the stage, making it impossible for him to even stand still. He's forced into the splits, somersaults, and even accidentally kicking the Mayor. After humiliating him thoroughly, Robbie offers a prelude to his finale by using the boots to "drive" Sportacus on and off the stage like a car, even fashioning him as a figure skater at one point before skidding him to a halt. The kids advise Sportacus to balance himself and for a while, it seems to work, and the superhero regains his confidence... Only for Robbie to then reveal it was a fake-out and slide Sportacus's feet into the splits again. For the grand finale, Robbie orders the boots to expel Sportacus from the stage and send him helplessly seated upon a far-away bench while his "cuckoo" feet are sent flying every which way, preventing him from as much as getting up in "auto" mode while the villain prepares to replace him as Lazycus. The children, however, suspect that something is amiss and go to help the struggling superhero. After witnessing his desperate position, Stephanie and the others ask Sportacus what's wrong. He answers, oblivious to the sabotage of the Feet Crazer Maker 6000, that he cannot control his feet, at which point the mischievous boots seem to forcefully drag him off of the bench, much to Sportacus's protest, likely to torment him further. But as Stephanie excitedly rushes off anyways to try an idea to help him gain control, Sportacus might as well follow, even if under the complete control of the boots. Stephanie and the kids then attempt to help Sportacus in various ways, prompting the song Always a Way. During the number, the kids advise Sportacus to stretch, grab ahold of his legs to help him keep still, and even tie his leg up with rope. All of which only manage to make things worse as the superhero's haywire boots refuse to stay dormant for one moment. However, they do seem to like dancing, as they synchronize up with Stephanie's choreography slowly but surely over the course of the song ... whether Sportacus means to or not. But in the end, they manage to get their revenge by making Sportacus pirouette out-of-control towards the kids who attempted to restrict their movements moments ago. Eventually, they end up on the bench again, with Trixie and Pixel holding back their hero's hands and Stephanie and Ziggy grabbing ahold of his feet. Sportacus exclaims that there must be something he can do moments before Ziggy is kicked off by the Feet Crazer Maker 6000 and sent flying. This is when Stephanie has the idea for Sportacus to walk on his hands instead of his feet. Sportacus tries it and surprisingly, it succeeds and the boots are deactivated somehow. However, later when Sportacus shows up to the podium on his hands where Robbie attempts to replace him in his Lazycus costume, he manages to find the remote and set it back on manual mode instead of auto for the purpose of turning it on and once again ruining Sportacus's stunt, causing him to fall down on the stage. Auto-mode is activated again and Sportacus's legs go crazy as the Crazer Maker this time does not allow him to get up, instead forcing him to lie on his back as his feet flail about endlessly in the air. Even the hero is left whimpering, helpless to stop the boots as they kick closer towards his face. However, Pixel senses something "fishy" and sets off to investigate. Robbie takes this opportunity to drop the remote control so that Sportacus will stay tormented by the boots forever, though doesn't account for Pixel being there to catch it, who instantly recognizes the device. While Robbie gloats in a weakened Sportacus's face, Pixel flips a switch on the remote to cause the boots to fly off, much to the confusion of everyone, including Robbie, who makes a dash to find the fake boots. Sportacus is overjoyed to find that he can finally control himself, but is confused as to why his shoes are missing. Robbie arrives with the Feet Crazer Maker 6000 for Sportacus to put on again, but Pixel challenges Robbie to put them on instead. Robbie puts them on only for Pixel to reveal that he has the remote instead. He activates the boots and gives Robbie a taste of his own medicine, making him lose control of his feet and run off clumsily. Robbie collides with a garbage can, causing it to spill out Sportacus's real boots, and making himself tumble over as well. Robbie then gets up in a huff, only to find the boots are still on him, and wails off out of sight. Later, the Feet Crazer Maker 6000 can be seen making Robbie dance to Bing Bang in the last scene. When Stephanie feels as if she wants to give up on her current situation, Sportacus mentions the Feet Crazer Maker 6000 whilst recollecting the events of Defeeted, stating that it was her that reminded him, even when controlling his feet seemed hopeless, that there was "always a way". Stephanie admits that she did, in fact, say so, and opens up her diary where she's written down, and taken a picture of, the situation in question, which helps cheer her up in the end. Briefly, footage of the Feet Crazer Maker 6000 is shown during Pixel's video showcase, where Ziggy refers to it as "Robbie's foot-controller", and Robbie's defeat at his hands is highlighted. The Feet Crazer Maker 6000 is mentioned and seen as one of Robbie's failed plans in the episode, the events of Defeeted being displayed on a VHS tape played on his television. Later, when summoning all of his greatest inventions, the boots can be seen on a table. Unfortunately, they are never used or seen again in the episode.
GalleryThe boots have figured out an alternate career for Sportacus. Instead of being a superhero... he can be a figure skater!
