Sportacus:
If you wanna be talk of the town,
You need energy.
If you wanna jump around-
Stingy:
You need energy.
Stephanie:
There's nothing really like it.
Stephanie and Stingy:
You only have to move around
until you get your feet off the ground.
Stephanie (and Milford (Sportacus on the Move only)):
You have to try it to believe it.
All:
You got energy, and you're on your way.
Ba ba bada, bada da da da
ba ba bada, bada da da da
Energy - we're gonna make it happen.
Energy - we're gonna make it happen.
Sportacus:
There's nothing really like it.
You only have to move around
until you get your feet off the ground.
All:
Ba ba bada, bada da da da
ba ba bada, bada da da da
Sportacus:
You have to try it to believe it.
All:
You got energy, and you're on your way.

Trivia
Part of this song plays in the online game, "Pixelspix".
In Dear Diary, Stephanie sings the first line before the song plays.
The UK version of this song is kinda all over the place. On the UK version of Sports Day, Stingy's voice is not heard with Stephanie during the line "You only have to move around until you get your feet off the ground". Also, on the UK version of Dear Diary, Stingy sings an octave higher during his part. On the UK version Sportacus on the Move, both Sportacus and Stingy sing "You need energy". On all the instances the song's played in the UK dub, including Record's Day, Stephanie sings an octave higher during the lines "You have to try it to believe it. You got energy, and you're on your way". This is presumably due to them using an earlier take of Stephanie singing to make room for the UK voices, and didn't bother to use the lower octave version since it was with the US vocals.
